National Service Capacity and Mentorship Program (NS-CaMP)

Ghana continues to face two interconnected national challenges:

• Graduate unemployment and low workforce readiness among university graduates.

• Severe teacher shortages in underserved and rural communities.

While thousands of graduates complete national service annually, many leave the program without practical skills, mentorship, professional exposure, or clear career pathways. At the same time, many underserved schools struggle with inadequate teaching personnel, resulting in poor educational outcomes for children. The National Service Capacity and Mentorship Program (NS-CaMP) is a structured intervention designed to bridge this gap by transforming the national service year into a professional development and community impact program.

• Training

  Through the program, participants will receive professional mentorship, skills training, and career guidance, ensuring a mutually beneficial experience for both the schools and the national service personnel.

• Performance Evaluation

  Comprehensive evaluation of program outcomes, student learning impact, and participant skill development.

• Feedback Mechanisms

  Establish channels for personnels to share experiences and suggestions, fostering continuous improvement.
